“We took a road trip in Ladakh for 5 days in May 2023 with Namgail Tashi. We were particularly interested in wildlife and landscape photography. Tashi was an excellent guide. He was always available during the planning process. The cost of the trip was clearly communicated with a detailed breakdown and the final bill was exactly the same. We learned a lot from his vast knowledge of the geography and history of Ladakh which also helped us determine the best composition for our photographs. He was always punctual and kept us busy from sunrise to sunset with his excellent planning skills. He has a calm demeanor and a very pleasant personality. He would always stop for us if we thought there was a photo opportunity and he had excellent suggestions as well. He was constantly scanning the environment for wildlife and we were fortunate to photograph many including a rarely seen Pallas’s Cat. "Compliments to Namgail for helping to organise and customise our spontaneous trip to Ladakh (less than 4 days before our flight)! He made time to welcome us at the airport and routinely checked in on us. Throughout the trip, we felt well taken care of and safe.
Our driver, Punchok, was with us for the whole duration of our road trip. He was amazing at navigating the roads and tricky mountain cliffs. We were also lucky to be the first few groups in his new car which he diligently kept clean from all the dust and road dirt every day.
